50kg kiln-dried sand

250kg coarse sharp sand

 

 

1. Once you are ready to lay the product, mark out a circle approximately 2050mm diameter using a centre pin and string line.

Allow a slight cross fall for the displacement of rainwater.

 

2. Working from the centre, lay two C blocks followed by the first eight A blocks hand tight in a circular row.

 

3. Continue working in circular rows to the laying pattern.

 

4. Once all the blocks are laid, brush kiln-dried sand into the joints as with other block paving.

 

5. If the circle is a stand alone feature, ensure the outer blocks are secured by bedding on 100mm thick concrete with a haunch of at least half the block height at the side to prevent movement.
