Bradstone has joined forces once again with the students of Pershore College to create An Eruption of Colour, a distinctly tropical garden set as if in the wake of a volcano which has recently erupted.

The hard landscape of paving, walling and cobbles provides a dramatic framework to the scene which features lush green planting such as ferns, grasses and bamboos, much of it indigenous to the hotter climes of Africa, Australia, South America and the Mediterranean.

The volcano has been created using Woburn Rumbled block paving; hot lava flows are represented by rich and vibrant planting in bright reds, crimsons and oranges. Water cascading into the rock pool adds a sense of calm and suggests a cooling contrast to the surrounding humidity.
