Bradstone is celebrating its 25th year at the Chelsea Flower Show this year and has invited Alan Sargent to design a special commemorative garden – Silver Reflections.

 

A common theme to the show gardens created by Bradstone over the years has been, we hope, to offer simple and achievable design ideas for real gardens and gardeners. Silver Reflections is no exception.

 

Designed perhaps for quiet contemplation, the garden shows how changes of level can add interest and movement, drawing the eye through the patio to the gently cascading water feature and finally to the seating area.

 

The predominantly green planting scheme creates a restful and reflective feel to the garden, whilst touches of silver in both planting and hard materials provide focus and interest. The striking sculptures – commissioned especially for the garden – add a bold and contemporary twist.
