Dress Your Garden For Christmas

Dress Your Garden For Christmas

Most people put fairy lights in the garden and a wreath on the door at Christmas but you can expand on this idea without it becoming too garish.

Christmas ribbon wrapped around planters in the garden will add a festive touch. Window boxes or hanging baskets can be filled with fir branches and big bright baubles. Let the children cut snowflakes from white card and string them together to hang at your windows.

Group together smaller terracotta pots filled with holly stems and a candle in each for a festive glow at night.

Make a Christmas tree from terracotta pots and put a star on the top for an unusual welcome at your door.

Use a pallet and turn the slats into a homespun decorative tree.  All of these ideas add kerb appeal to your home and make a warm welcome.
