Micro-Veg: How to make the most of a small garden space

Make the most of the smallest space with micro-veg, ideal for home-made small containers or a Bradstone Raised Planter.

Miniature vegetables are cute! Cute and edible, so here are some ideas for what to grow in window boxes, containers and raised planters...

Sweet dumpling squash is a delightful teacup size squash. It has a very sweet, tender orange flesh excellent for cooking. In appearance it is very striking being an ivory colour with dark green stripes.

Baby eggplant is a fairly new mini vegetable. The plant itself is compact and produces lots of miniature tasty fruit that can be deep fried whole.

Peppers now come in miniature varieties. Little bell peppers in yellow, red and chocolate that are averagely 2 1/2 inches wide and 11/4 inches long. Just right to pop in your mouth!

Don’t limit yourself to veg, some flowers will do really well so why not try Mimosa, Geranium, Sunflowers and Californian Poppies for a few!
