Delivery and Returns Policy

Delivery policy

Deliveries normally occur between 8am and 6pm*. Once your order has been placed you will be contacted and provided with an exact date of delivery.

We offer free delivery on orders over £200 and delivery is usually made in 3-5 working days from date of order.*

Larger orders and orders containing block paving or individual units may take slightly longer. Please contact our team for further information.

Cost of delivery

  • All orders of £200 or more (even if only containing individual units) will be delivered free of charge*. 

  • Orders for individual units with an order value of less than £200 usually have a flat delivery charge of £45.

  • Saturday, morning or evening delivery options can be selected at checkout. The charges for these can be seen below.

  • Certain postcodes will incur an additional delivery charge. View our delivery charges table below. 

How is my order delivered?

Our default method of delivery is kerb side via a tail lift vehicle. However we also offer crane and moffett offloads in certain instances. These are usually reserved for larger orders or delivered with tricky offload locations. If you have any questions regarding delivery, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Tail lift vehicle 

Unless otherwise stated, all deliveries will be made to the kerbside using a tail lift vehicle. Customers may request a driver to deliver onto a driveway, however any damage caused by doing so is at the customer's risk.  Drivers may refuse to unload for safety or operational reasons. Tail lift deliveries are usually delivered on an 18T rigid vehicle which measures approximately 12m (L) x 2.8m (W) x 4m (H). The smallest size available is a 7.5T vehicle measuring approximately 8.3m (L) x 2.5m (W) x 3.5m (H). Please advise us if you think you may require a 7.5t vehicle. 

 

Crane Vehicle

Depending on your location, quantity ordered and/or access to the property we may be able to deliver your order on a crane vehicle. We will inform you of this when we call to book your delivery. Crane vehicles can vary in size and will be discussed when we call to book in your delivery. 

Moffett Vehicle

Vehicles with forklift offloads may also be used for larger orders or upon request where possible. Moffett vehicles can vary in size and will be discussed when we call to book in your delivery.

Rest assured that there is almost no location that we have been unable to deliver to. If you have a difficult delivery location, usually a combination of a different delivery vehicle and a little extra time will generally result in a successful delivery.

Please contact us on 01335 372289 should you need any help. Our customer services team will advise how to prepare for receipt of ordered goods. Our delivery team is not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of your goods.

We do not deliver items to multiple addresses.

How long will delivery take?

Delivery will normally be within 3-5 working days. Please note that for those customers who live in some remote rural areas our delivery service may be extended by 2 working days

Please note:

  • Working days are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays.

  • Delivery times apply to items in stock.

  • If any items are out of stock we will contact you and either organise a refund or give you an estimated time of availability.

Delivery addresses

Bradstone delivers to all UK mainland addresses. There is, however, an extra charge for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands (and certain other Scottish postcodes), Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey and BFPO addresses. Please see our delivery charges table above for these costs.

Delivery to an address other than your billing address is permitted.

Further information

Whilst we will always make every effort to deliver the products on the agreed delivery date we can not be held responsible for matters beyond our control that results in your products not arriving on the day in question.

Please do not book builders or hire equipment for the day of delivery in case of any events resulting in the scheduled delivery being delayed.

In the unlikely event of your product not arriving on the scheduled delivery day we will endeavor to rearrange delivery for as soon as possible the following morning.
